What we use

• Essential. When you save your cookie preferences, we keep that choice in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask again. Orenda staff who sign in to edit the site receive a sign-in cookie from our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure. Visitors who don’t sign in never receive it. The site needs these to work, so they can’t be turned off.
• Embedded video (optional). Our homepage video is hosted on YouTube. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and the player doesn’t load until you click play. Once it loads, YouTube may store data in your browser and collect information about your viewing, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. You can also watch the video on YouTube.com instead.

What we don’t use

We don’t use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking cookies, and we don’t allow other companies to track you across our site for advertising. We don’t sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices

• Use the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of any page to turn embedded video off or back on. When it’s off, we ask before any video loads.
• You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings. The public site works fully without them; only staff sign-in needs a cookie.
• We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends either signal, embedded video starts off and we ask before any video loads, unless you turn video on in Cookie preferences. We don’t sell, share, or track your information for advertising whether or not your browser sends a signal.
